Addressing different aspects of Brazilian popular music (samba, choro , bossa nova, MPB) and consider their possible applications in an educational context.
Content
thorough work on the rhythmic aspect of music in Brazil group practice.
Work on body percussion and voice (polyrhythms of Batucada).
Working with folk songs arranged in simple polyphony. Getting
teaching situation at the end of the course.
escorts Brazilian musicians (guitar, percussion, piano) will occur during this training.
Public
teachers, choir directors, music teachers in schools, teachers in conservatories or associations, school teachers, professional singers and instrumentalists who intend to teach.
